About Me
I have a passion for children and learning that expands well over 12 yrs! I absolutely LOVE learning new things and have been in some sort of class to learn something ever since I got out of high school.
I have a wonderful family with five children and a husband of 12 yrs. We have 3 dogs and a cat named Tom which all are very kid friendly.
I enjoy many things such as being involved with my church and helping with OUTREACH programs whenever I can, reading, gardening, and most of all being with my family.

Experience
I have been involved with children for a very long time and I grew to love early education when my oldest child entered Head Start. It was there that I became in love with the whole Early learning process and how miraculous the little minds were. Everything is new and exciting to them and they learn so quickly with consistency.
I recieved a AAS degree in Erly Childhood Education through South Central College in May 2010 and am now currently obtaing my BA in Child Development/Early Education which will be completed next year.
I had the pleasure to work as an Assistant Teacher/Lead Teacher for 3 yrs at the Head Start where my passion began which gave me great trainging and experience working with children and families.

I don't wear power suits, make speeches, or drive a fancy
sports car.
I've never talked on a car phone, made a big sale, or been elected to the Senate.
I don't "do lunch", have a big impressive office or carry a beeper.
I spend my days wiping away tears, giving hugs, and serving chicken nuggets.
A good day is when I go through a whole day without a temper tantrum, bite marks, or a toilet training accident.
My "office" is a room full of brightly colored toys and laughing children.
I make a difference because I'm changing the world one child at a time.
Everyday I'm getting the once in a lifetime chance to touch the lives of the future. I'm PROUD to say that "I'm a child care provider"!!!
